Millers Cottage Large Private Pool AC WiFi

Lovely villa, pool & garden. Very peaceful and relaxing stay, lots of seating options which we appreciated & everything well thought through inside also very clean and well maintained. Really good location for restaurants in nearby Magazia. The views from the property were stunning and felt very private. Bathroom was lovely with views out to the olives groves.

A vehicle is fairly essential for getting around in this area. The Wi-Fi didn’t work during our stay and 4G was patchy so made planning a bit difficult. AC was a bit noisy. But really can’t fault overall.

We loved the cottage's location, right in the middle of the island, meaning travelling by car no journey was more than 10 minutes. The bed was really comfortable, and it was lovely to have a little pool to jump into on a hot day.

We literally couldn't leave any food, not even in the cupboard, because of the ant problem. Unless you finished the whole pack of whatever you opened, it would be covered within half an hour. We ended up having to put everything in the fridge as it was the only place the ants couldn't get to! Also, the drawers in the wardrobe have been installed back to front, so they can't be opened which was a bit annoying.

The pool facilities - although it needed to be cleaned of debris at the bottom. Look of the cottage. Great view of the sea. There was parking though damaged our tires due to how steep and poor grip of driveway

The kitchen was unusable due to the infestation of ants which made it impossible to bring in ANY food since thousands would immediately cover everything. There is also an infestation of gnats and mosquitoes which with our best efforts we couldn’t sleep during our stay, leaving exhausted and covered in welts and bites. The WiFi could not extend past the cottage - it would be nice to have it reach the pool area. Screens are imperative to improving the space.

The tv was not working either the radio . Only after sending a complaint to the office the property manager try to fix it but with no outcome .

Housemaid came twice during our stay but she just swiped floors and left us new towels, nothing from that was done, neither new sheets or bed was made. Fridge in kitchen was not working properly, it ran mid temperature. Shower in bathroom can be better Nets for moscitos would be much appreciated, in this case we had to close the whole house and turn on AC in order to have some sleep

We loved the central location on the island, everything was 10 - 15 minutes away and it's a very quiet, pretty area. The property was very clean and very well designed, a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The a/c is a must!

It would have been useful to have an information book in the property with comments/information from previous guests, rather than just a sheet of paper saying, for example, that a bakery is 5 minutes away (where is it, in what direction, etc) The pool should be cleaned properly rather than just scooping out debris from the the surface of the pool The fridge isn't very cold although the ice box in the fridge is brilliant
