The Lighthouse Yzerfontein

Even though we were 10 adults, we found the house very comfortable. Lots of space inside and outside the house. The kitchen is well equipped and comfortable to cook for 10 people. We definitely come back.

It's a pity that only one bedroom has the shower, while the others have a bathtub. Luckily there's an extra shower next to the sauna. 2 rooms at the first floor have to share the bathroom, while the others are ensuit.

It needs a bit of maintenance.

Beautiful location on beach front

Although it was an older property and needed a little TLC in some places and bathrooms needed showers updated.It had a lovely charm about it.We stayed as a party of five and had plenty of space.Everything was provided and a housekeeper lives on site and will assist you with any questions and help.

The house is beautiful, lots of space and location is perfect

Most of the bathrooms had a bath only, these should be converted to shower facilities, there is lots of signage reminding us to save water and showers vs bath supports this

The setting of the house is unbeatable. Priscilla, the housekeeper has been very nice and helpful throughout the weekend. Facilities in and around the house are great.

Some of the windows could not be opened.

A very nice place with a local charm. That's obviously not an example of a shiny modern villa but everything was there, local architecture, panoramic windows, beautiful views (Yzerfontain got the best ones on the West Coast), a cleaning lady (which is super convenient for big companies), huge dining area with a kitchen, wifi etc Make sure you visit Rust in Thyme local cafe a short walk away.
