Seashell an Elegant Seafront Villa

Immaculate welcoming property, spacious, all facilities for a relaxing time, very effective air conditioning throughout the property, cleaning and change of bed linen / towels offered every 2-3 days which in my experience is rare practice for self catering properties. The photos do not do justice to this perfect oasis for relaxation and sun bathing so I did not add any! Did not have to go anywhere to swim as the terrace was our beach. Terrace is wide enough to even do whatever sort of exercise - ocean yoga at its best, also you can move the sun loungers in the sun or shadow as you prefer all day long. The village is peaceful but quite alive with at least 5-6 tavernas within half a mile, supermarket, little shops. Heraklion easily reached 20 min by bus (modern with AC) if you don't have a car. Last but not least - Dimitris is indeed the most gracious host , he waited for us at the property. He recommended the best places to eat locally and in Heraklion and we are so happy we took his advice. He also introduced us to the best local wines and ice creams! Dimitris was regularly checking we had everything we needed as a discreet presence , always available and around if needed, but never intrusive - rare combination of skills in a host.

We really could not find a fault ! Only hesitation when writing this review - if we tell everyone how good this place is, it might not remain available when we go back.

Dimitris is an exceptional host who welcomed us and made us feel at home from the moment we landed at Heraklion International Airport. He runs his business with the utmost professionalism. Every detail in the house is thoughtfully arranged. He understands the needs of his guests and does everything possible to make your stay unforgettable. The accommodation is spotless, with a regular cleaning service provided during your stay. Bedsheets, towels, and all consumables are routinely changed and restocked. The view from the terrace reveals the aquamarine Sea of Crete. Just a few steps away, you can immerse yourself in its warm embrace. There's nothing better than waking up and heading straight from your bed for a morning swim in the sea, invigorating you for the day ahead. All the amenities and shops you might need are within walking distance, whether it's the optician, groceries, car rental, or local restaurants. The junction to access the 90 motorway is only a minute's drive away, but you can't hear the traffic from your suite. There's also the nearby archaeological site of Nirou. We truly hope to visit again, as it felt like traveling from one home to another. We cannot thank Dimitris enough for our fantastic holiday.

There is nothing that you can dislike about this place.

Dimitris was an amazing host. He greeted us and showed us around and made sure we were very comfortable. He went over and above even carrying our luggage for us and making sure we got to our next destination safely. The place was super clean and very comfortable with beautiful views right on the water and gorgeous sunset! Great air conditioning and water pressure and comfortable beds. Perfect stay we had the best time and highly recommend this property! Thank you so very much Dimitris!

Everything was perfect about our stay

Location was just perfect, right on the beach and within walking distance to a number of great restaurants and a super market. Just 15 mins car drive from Heraklion airport. The host was wonderful and made sure our stay was great: everything from greeting to send off was superb - the recommendation of places to go was spot on too! The fruit basket, wine and ice cream gifts were such a nice gesture and really delicious.

There was really nothing that we didn’t like. Our stay was wonderful.

Maybe a bigger kitchen would have been good.

The location was great. We especially enjoyed the fantastic view, and just how short the distance was from the Villa to the beach. Quality views of both sunset and sunrise. Great accommodation by our host, who also provided great recommendations and knowledge about the area if needed.

Everything!! The location was excellent and not far from all the lovely restaurants recommended by the owner. Seashell Seafront had everything you needed and was decorated superbly throughout. The beds were comfortable and sheets were very comfortable and luxurious. The kitchen was equipped with everything you’d ever need and more. The bathroom was a great size with walk in shower. The lounge and dining area was lovely with tv, sofa and dining table. The outside area was amazing! views to die for, sun loungers, seats and outside dining table.

Nothing to dislike

Beautiful and clean apartment. Directly located at the beach with an amazing terrace to relax and a stunning view. Enough space for 5 people. Dimitris was a great host from the start of our journey (contact via whatsapp) till departure, we could contact him anytime we needed something, got great tips (next supermarket, beach bar, restaurants, taverns, etc.), apartment got cleaned during our stay while we explored crete. All in all our expectations were exceeded, can only recommend!

Seashell Is an amazing place facing a fantastic sea. The apartment is elegant and well organized with all the confort. We really liked the position and the possibility to have direct access to the beach. Dimitris, the owner, Is a great person, we were delighted to meeting him and follow his always right suggestions regarding restaurants, seasides and trips around the Island!! A fantastic holiday, we will come back for sure!!Kudos Dimitris
