Villa Babilonia

The property was very dated; it had a musty smell. There was no air conditioning or fans in the property, if you slept with the windows open for air, it was too noisy, if you closed them, it was too hot. the beds were very uncomfortable; there were no beach towels. I travelled from Australia so don't tend to take beach towels with me, so we had to go and buy some. There were no basic kitchen stables. The washing machine didn't work properly; there were ants in the kitchen. I personally did not end up staying the whole time at the house, I moved to a hotel and my extended family continued to stay in the house. Would personally not recommend this property to anyone. Although I do believe that the council were looking at demolishing the houses on this strip.

This villa was a gem of a find, absolutely everything we were looking for in a nutshell, perfect location on the quiet beach as we have young children so they could swim safely close to the house. The house is very spacious and immaculately clean, well equipped and a perfect home from home for us. Amazing sunsets, sundowns and costal/ Mountain View’s from both terraces, the veranda facing the sea was shaded during the midday heat and was great for relaxing and eating meals, air con was not needed as the gentle breeze blows through the villa and keeps it lovely and cool all day, can’t rate this lovely villa highly enough, will be booking again!
