La troisième chambre n’a pas de climatisation

Location was good, 8 min car drive to Grand Baie. The communication with the host was good, the gate didn’t function properly but he came and got it fixed really fast. We got good recommendations from the host where to eat and go out nearby. The bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were good and clean.

- air condition in the bedrooms was good, but there was no air conditioning in the living room which was a pity. Because of the high temperature and humidity we could barely use it during our stay. - the kitchen needs a renovation, the furniture was of low quality and uninviting to cook. Inside of many drawers it was a light mess . Although the kitchenware was cleaned we felt we need to clean every fork and glass again because of the state of the place it was stored - keys keys and keys again. 2 locks, 2 keys and a gate that (had to be manually opened)made entering and leaving the property always a 5 minute job. You couldn’t just leave or just get in. It’s not the fault of the host but if the owner, he should just change the doors so that you don’t have to use extra locks. - check in possible only after 16:00 ( the day of check in is kind of lost) - the 3rd room with single beds dons’t have air con , we didn’t need it but it’s good to know if you plan to come as a group of 6.

Una bella casa con una terrazza coperta ancora migliore. C’è veramente tutto per cucinare e il giardino è ben tenuto con tanti uccelli e gecko coloratissimi. I bagni sono ampi e con una ottima pressione dell’acqua (c’è una pompa all’esterno). Eric il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e flessibile con il check-in anticipato. Necessario avere una auto/moto a noleggio perché la vicina spiaggia è poco utilizzabile. Questo però è un problema comune a tutta Mauritius, le case sul mare bloccano quasi completamente l’accesso e si sono mangiate tutta la spiaggia. Noi siamo andati a Mon Choisy, (1.5 km) dove affittano anche degli ombrelloni + lettini.

Une jolie villa nichée dans un jardin exotique, avec une belle terrasse, dans un quartier résidentiel et très calme, à quelques centaines de mètres d'une plage et proche de celle de Mont Choisy. Les chambres sont de bonne taille et deux sont climatisées. La literie est très confortable et les deux salles d'eau sont fonctionnelles. La cuisine est sommaire mais le bbq permet d'excellentes grillades. Epicerie de base+produits d'hygiène, et linge de toilette à disposition. Accueil et disponibilité de la conciergerie au top. Quelques ananas et des rafraichissement au frigo à l'arrivée : jolie manière de souhaiter la bienvenue !

Dans la chambre donnant sur le jardin, une petite penderie ou même une simple tringle permettrait aux robes et chemises de s'installer ! Plus ennuyeux : la clim est installée face au lit. Solution : décaler le lit et déployer un paréo devant la clim !

Great location, lovely hosts, spacious house, perfect for a family holiday

Private villa in nice and quiet street. Lovely terrance. Good bedrooms for four person. Supermarket and other food store near the villa. about 500m. Allso bus stop near the villa. Ypu can go to Grand bay or Mon Choisy beach. In terrance was exellent grill.

In leaving room shoud be aircondition, it was quite hot if you make food in oven. It would be lovely have more kitchen stuff for eating..plaits, coffee mugs, glass becose the is no dishmachine. And i guess these were went broken earlier.
