Magical VILLA CASA KOI in Sao Bras de Alportel

Stunning villa. Perfect place to down tools. The pool is outstanding and the grounds have plenty of space for the kids to explore (the swing and fish pond were a big hit). Close to supermarket for supplies. Kitchen has everything you need. Comfy beds. Jonathon, Sandra and Margarida were available throughout our stay for queries (and even very kindly helped return my phone when I stupidly left it behind!). Would absolutely come back again.

Wonderful peaceful location with great views overlooking country side and out to distant sea. Quiet location yet very close by car to amenities such as shops and supermarkets. Good nearby restaurants. Good showers, lovely pool and good Wi-Fi.

Nothing apart from no shade for car. Sewage pipes in Portugal in rural areas are smaller meaning toilet paper has to go into a bucket to avoid drain blockages but that just means you have to adapt.

Very convenient location near supermarkets and restaurants yet very peaceful tranquil setting with stunning views and lovely pool and grounds.

Poor quality bed linen and pillows. En-suite sink tends to back up drains releasing bad smells.

Exactly as described. Gorgeous setting. Comfortable beds. Modern kitchen. The garden and pool area is beautiful and calm with great views. Very clear and responsive hosts.

Everything. The views, the garden, the pool, the layout of the house (very conducive to families who also want space from each other), also well-equipped kitchen.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I wasn‘t able to stay for ever!

The villa is set at the end of a country road. Not too difficult to find. Lovely long drive and very private. The views and gardens are lovely. There is an electrical wiring ( from pylons) nearby but didn’t bother us at all. Villa has a nice feel. And the outside space around the pool is great. Pool was lovely and well maintained. Communication was great. No problems.

On arrival we where not expecting one of the 3 bedrooms ( the kids bedroom is set off the sitting area) not to have aircon so we ended up with one of ours in with us. I think more comfortable sofa , armchairs inside for lounging - but we sat outside mostly. Think the outdoor lighting around the dining table could be looked at and more umbrellas by the pool.
