LAVANYA Private Pool Villa Residence 2 Floors @ Pantai Cenang.

Big size villa, the pool, great location and good overall cleanliness. Our family of 5 really enjoyed it.

Masterbedroom does not have toilet door - weird exclusion. The master bedroom is a large sized room with a walk in closet and a huge toilet. However, neither the walk in closet or the toilet has a door.

This is by far the best accommodation you can choose for your family in Langkawi. We truly enjoyed our time in this villa. The check-in process was very smooth, and we collected the keys ourselves from a mailing box. The owner was very informative and responsive to our inquiries prior to and during our stay. The 2 floor Villa has 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 fully equipped kitchen, 1 large living room 1 dinning area and washing machine and a separate car park. The swimming pool was very fantastic and huge - around 12 x 4 meters. Towels, washing soap, and tissues were provided. Security guards at the gate were nice, supportive, and welcoming. I highly recommend this place if you visit Langkawi.

When we moved in, it was very dirty, and they didn't even throw away the garbage. We did the cleaning all day!!

Located within the Riyaz Lavanya complex, the location of this villa is fantastic! Directly across the road from four restaurants, and a short walk into Pantai Tengah for more eateries, and convenience stores. It is a 20 minute slow walk into Pantai Cenang for nightlife, eateries, shopping, and fun on the beach. The beach is no more than a 7 minute walk behind Riyaz. The villa itself is very nice, with living downstairs, and two bedrooms upstairs. Both rooms have a king and double bed and an ensuite bathroom. The beds are incredibly comfortable, we all slept very well. There is a small laundry upstairs also with a washing machine. The private pool is definitely a highlight, and this was cleaned once during our 7 day stay. Our hosts were fabulous! Very responsive and friendly. Definite highlight of our trip were the night walks along the beach to the Hidden bar for a tipple before bed. And the amazing fruit only smoothies in Cenang. Cheap and delicious.

The villa could do with a deep clean. There was a distinct mildew smell upon arrival on our first day. Ants were a problem during our stay, and the shower grout needed attention in the larger bedroom. The villa was definitely clean enough, I got the impression it hadn't had a deep clean in between visitors for a while. I would have liked to see towels for the pool being provided, along with some more glassware and crockery. We purchased pool towels and glassware as there wasn't enough. Overall it was a great place, great location, great hosts, just a few small suggestions to have made it fabulous! Langkawi itself is still recovering from COVID closures, which is evident by the amount of abandoned buildings and sidewalks/landscapes which haven't been maintained. Good coffee outside of franchises is impossible to find. In our experience, it was difficult to find many eateries in Tengah open before 10/11 am which is challenging when you have children to feed. We travelled during Ramadan, and I initially thought this was impacting eateries from opening, but a local assured me this is normal practice.

I love the decor, facilities and location of the villa. It is 15minutes drive to Cenang Beach and it is located in the middle of Langkawi. So, travelling to kuah or oriental village is about 30minutes journey.

The pub in the opposite of the villa is too loud that you can hear it from the bedroom. Not advisable for light sleeper.

Some fittings and fixtures were broken. Eg bathroom kept choking.
