Very special location at the most southernly point of Port Elizabeth. Very quite with great views and a nice inside BBQ place. Very nice hosts, who gave us a Lighthouse Tour !

The place was well set up, very clean and modern. We loved the open braii station.

The road is blocked with sand dunes meaning check in and out with the wind and rain wasn't great.

We were at the end of a 3 week trip with friends so we wanted a property where we could relax together in the evening before we dropped them off at the nearby international airport which is just 20 mins away. We felt like we were at the edge of the world surrounded by a stunning beach and beautiful sea and yet we were minutes outside of Port Elizabeth. A further enormous bonus point was that we didn't have to self cater as Peter came to the house and cooked a wonderful braai with a fresh salad and baked potato. I've got a lot of dietary issues but Peter catered for me beautifully and we were all delighted with our evening supper. There's also a good selection of wines, beers and other drinks to purchase. Lin Maré was delightful to communicate with and together they made a super experience for us. I must of course mention Ashwin who lives on site and helps with everything from luggage to dish washing and showing us around the lighthouse. I've taken some lovely photos but the memories in my head will last forever even without digital images. Thank you Team Cape Recife. You excelled as hosts.

Ashwin met us to check in and was polite and helpful and on hand if we needed anything at anytime- particularly comforting as the villa is in such a remote location. Beautifully furnished with a stunning view from the lounge on the top floor.

Nothing! The villa looks unusual from the outside but is stunning inside.

Excellent location and very tasteful Interior design. When arriving though, one night think that this is not the place. There is barbed wire and the villa doesn't look like much from the outside. Don't be fooled though. The assistant lighthouse manager welcomes you and is very helpful and kind. You can also visit the lighthouse somewhere between 5 am and 5 pm. The facilities and the kitchen are excellent. You also get an indoor braai (fireplace for cooking). The views from the villa are stunning. And you have the beach almost to yourselves. We saw whales blowing and breaching and took many beautiful pictures of the place at sunset and sunrise. We got an excellent deal and enjoyed our stay very much. One night may be too short...

Hospitality of the host and staff was great. The place is beautiful and very comfortable.

The bedroom windows do not shut completely and cold air enters the room, especially when it is a windy evening.
