My husband and I recently stayed at Castello di Vista in Corfu for a late honeymoon, and it turned out to be the perfect choice for a quiet, romantic escape. This charming hotel is a beautifully restored house with several small villas, each offering a cozy and private retreat. The property is set on a hill, surrounded by lush greenery, and boasts a stunning view that adds to the overall serene atmosphere. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the hospitality of the hotel manager, Spiros. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel incredibly welcome. Spiros is not only kind and warm, but he is also extremely knowledgeable about Corfu. He took the time to show us the must-visit spots on a map and even made calls to help us rent a car on very short notice—a lifesaver, considering the hotel's secluded location. His availability and eagerness to assist made our stay even more enjoyable. The room we stayed in was full of character. It had a traditional Greek style with vintage decor that made it feel both authentic and inviting. and it was meticulously clean

While the location of Castello di Vista offers tranquility and quick access (30+ minute drive) to the northern beaches of Corfu, it's important to note that a car is essential if you plan to stay here. The hotel is tucked away on a hill, and without a car, it would be quite challenging to get around. The only downsides we experienced were related to the food options. The breakfast, although fresh and tasty, was the same every day—a set menu of a boiled egg, cheese, ham, yogurt, butter, jams, and cornflakes. While it was enough to start the day, we would have appreciated a bit more variety. Additionally, we arrived quite hungry and realized there were no food options available at the hotel, so it's wise to stop at a grocery store beforehand if you plan to arrive late. Just remember to rent a car and maybe bring some snacks along for a more comfortable stay!

His smile, helpfulness, availability, and readiness to give advice are unparalleled. It's an approach to people, not just to clients. Location and Accessibility Transportation Necessary: The nearest shop is about a 15-20 minute walk away, with an uphill stretch one way, which can be challenging in hot weather, especially for older individuals. Peace and Quiet: The hotel is situated in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle. In the morning, you can hear the local roosters. Breakfast Breakfast: The same every day but tasty, nutritious, and healthy. Greek yogurt with honey and fruits is wonderful. Amenities and Facilities Rooms: Comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, small fridge, small stove, small TV (rarely used). Good WiFi (though unnecessary during a vacation). Cleanliness: Cleaning supplies are available in the bathrooms. Bed linen is regularly changed, and rooms are cleaned. Views and Pool: The villa offers a wonderful view, especially from the pool, which is warm and relatively large for the size of the hotel. Additional Amenities: Barbecue facilities, beautiful olive garden, large shaded parking area. Disadvantages Condition of the Property: Signs of aging are visible everywhere. Everything is somewhat old. Summary The hotel offers a peaceful retreat with exceptional service thanks to Spiros. Comfortable rooms and good facilities compensate for the necessity of having your own transportation. The hotel is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, but its condition requires some updating.

The hotel requires renovation. Specifically: the coverings over the terraces, the sun loungers by the pool, the sun loungers on the villa terraces, and the pool infrastructure.

Very idyllic setup and location

Amazing place, lovely staff, well located not that far from everything on the island ! I highly recommend it!

We were lucky enough to stay in this stylish villa. Sorry, but only for one day. We traveled around the island. Villa "Castello di Vista" is located on a hill, with a wonderful view of the east coast of Corfu. Everything in the villa is very tastefully furnished, especially clean pool water, cozy atmosphere throughout the villa area, wonderful music, breakfast is served on the terrace. But the biggest part of this the "pearl" of the villa is the owner himself, Mr. Spiros. He helped and advised us in all matters, from to. He absolutely deserves the best compliments. We wish the villa and Spira prosperity.

The apartments have a nice decoration and style. You have your own terrace and everything you need ( AC, small kitchen, Radio etc). Great garden with pool and views. The property is green and really quiet. The breakfast ist fresh and tasty. Easy parking in the property. Spiros is a fantastic host and Marios does a great job. We highly recommend this place!!

Nothing at all.

Castello di Vista is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature, even it's walking distance to important beaches, shops, restaurants, supermarkets, car, bikes rental companies, hotels, etc. The view from the swimming pool is breathtaking and the breakfast was a pleasure of the Greek Gods, there is no better greek yoghurt taste as in Greece!! Spiros and Mario were the best hosts you can have, they provided us with detailed information about the best places to visit (beaches, boat tours, authentic restaurants, ice cream shops, etc), they made us feel as part of their family and they took care of every detail in our stay.

The way to the hotel is not very easy to find, even with google maps is tricky to get. You will find signs with arrows indications along the road but anyway you can contact Spiros anytime and he will show or meet you to get there.

Hospitality was SUPERB. Spiros is a fantastic host who genuinely cares for his clients and goes above and beyond to satisfy them. This place is a gem.

Hard to find a fault.... It's a little difficult to find, but once you find your way around, you appreciate being a little further away from the touristy hubub. You come here to disconnect from the tumult, reserving the option to get into the commotion, with no more than a 5-10 minute drive downhill.
