The villa is in an excellent, quiet location.

The villa needs some improvements: the door to the downstairs bathroom doesn't close properly, the pressure of the water in the ensuite shower is very low. The shutters in the double bedroom don't close. The covers on the sofa and the covers on the scatter cushions smell badly and curtains are needed on the patio doors upstairs. The letting agents may well have come and carried out some of these faults but who wants to have repair people in all the time while you're on holiday. These faults could all have been done before new visitors arrive if the villa was properly checked over.

So close to the beach and strip

Beds and pillows could do with upgrade but other than that we had a lovely stay,some minor issues, when windy the window on stairs rattles,very poor water pressure in on suite bathroom sink ,and shutter in main bedroom needs fixed but other than that location brilliant and quiet enough.

From what we saw of the house it was very nice and would certainly stay there in the future, but not if the present management set up is in place.

We arrived at the villa at 2125, Sunday, 29 September, for the start of a four week stay. The house was flooded and we immediately messaged the managing company, “Hosticasa Properties”, based in Gran Canaria. They messaged us shortly after 2200, and offered a refund, but with no other help. I fully understand that accidents like flooding occasionally happens but my main complaint is that we were offered no assistance whatsoever. I turned the water off and then managed to remove most of the surface water. All that was left in the morning was a little residual water, which we were able to mop up. The following morning a surveyor assessed the damage. He removed the damp bedding and his parting words were for us not to worry that everything would be sorted later. He further added that cleaners would be along soon. We then went out to allow the cleaners undisturbed access, but on our return at 1445, were dismayed to find things exactly as we had left that morning. We messaged Hosticasa Properties and they expressed surprise that we were still in the villa. At no time were they proactive and all the activity came from us. We phoned them many times but all our calls were rejected. I am 73 and the rest of the party were of a similar age and we were disgracefully abandoned. With no help from the managing company, we managed to find alternative, but far from suitable accommodation. We would have preferred to contact the owner personally but Hosticasa said this was not possible. In one of the WhatsApp messages they said, in their words, that the owner is "completely oblivious to the house management" nor "is she available to contact you". I find this quite extraordinary as I would have thought that the owner would have been very interested as to what is going on in the property. We wrote to Hosticasa after we left, through Booking.com, but they have yet to reply.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Very central location, sun on balcony or terrace all day. Sun loungers and outside seating. Would definitely book again. Thank you.

Maybe some better rubbish collection as we had to store the used rubbish for 7 days in the house

Excellent location.

The covers on the throw cushions on the settee were very smelly. Could have been provided with hand towels for the bathrooms and a tea towel for the kitchen. My husband had to make a temporary repair to keep the shower head in position.
