Großzügige Räume mit hohen Decken, alten Fenstern und Türen. Geschmackvoll und stilgerecht eingerichtet. Eine riesige Terasse mit tollem Rundumblick zum Luganer See und umliegenden Bergen.

Nous avons passé deux semaines agréables dans cette maison splendide. La sérénité des lieux, la beauté à couper le souffle du paysage, ainsi que la bienveillance de nos hôtes ont profondément enchanté notre séjour.

Die Unterkunft ist geräumig, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Garten und die riesige Terrasse sind herrlich, der Ausblick grandios.

Die Zufahrt zur Villa (Einbahnstraße) ist sehr eng, sodass man sie mit einem etwas größeren Auto kaum erreichen kann. Zudem ist das Rückwärts-vom-Hof-Fahren wegen der engen Einfahrt zu Anfang sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Man hat es aber schnell raus. In der direkten Umgebung gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, man muss also erst in die Stadt am Fuß des Berges, was eine recht steile und kurvige Fahrt bedeutet. Aber das wussten wir auch vorher, von daher ist das keine Kritik an der Unterkunft selbst.

The building itself and location are stunning -- outrageous views from dawn to dusk! Architecturally it's beautiful, with original parquet floors and amazing painted ceilings. And the hosts are just lovely: friendly and welcoming.

You do need a car, and the drive through the village is a bit intimidating, with really narrow streets and tight corners, but there's nothing they can do about that! No A/C, but the thick old walls do keep it fairly cool.

Amazing view and very spacious historical flat. The lady brought us fresh tomatoes and produce from the garden, which was delicious!

Point to note- the apartment is on the ground floor of the building. The owners’ family live above, which is convenient, but may slightly cramp some peoples’ privacy. The house isn’t easy to find and it’s down a very narrow street, so be aware if you have a large car!
