Mooie authentieke Maleisische huisjes. Heerlijk zwembad. Geweldig lekker eten in het restaurant. Je moet wel van dieren houden want veel katten en honden in en rond het verblijf maar daar heb je geen last van. Het is 15 min lopen naar strand

Het ontbijt zou iets meer afwisselend mogen zijn

Wat een fantastisch verblijf hebben we gehad. We werden ontvangen met een welkomstdrankje. De huisjes zijn heerlijk, originele huisjes, met prachtig houtsnijwerk. De locatie is echt heel rustig, vogels, eekhoorntjes. De katten zijn lief en heb je geen last van. Bedden bij het zwembad lekker, handdoekenservice, en ook kleding laten wassen. Dat was echt goed. Ontbijt is redelijk simpel maar vers, en in het restaurant kan je heerlijk eten. Een hele bijzondere plek om te slapen!

Authentic kampung house, well equipped with what you need for a comfortable stay. Initially concerned about mosquitoes but that did not turn out to be an issue after all. I love the old style antique furniture - they don't build them like this anymore. Breakfast is adequate - system of leaving the food in the fridge for own preparation in the morning works well and is convenient, no need to rush for breakfast in the morning. Convenient location with several restaurants and the go-kart track just a few mins drive away, and a still short 10 min drive to the Cenang beach shopping and food area. It was also nice to have the shelter cats roaming around the compound. It's hard to find anything to complain about. If the old style, authentic kampung house stay is what you are looking for, this fits the bill perfectly.

We stayed 5 nights and loved it, although this place may not be for everyone. We stayed in “Laguna” which we thought was the pick of the villas. First impressions really are that you are staying in an old Malay wooden house and they do look quite ramshackle from the outside. There are no glass windows, only shutters, and when we first arrived we thought we would be too hot and get eaten alive by mosquitos. However, each villa has fans and air conditioning, and in the evening we would close the shutters and put on the air conditioning, and by the time we went to bed the villa was very comfortable to the point we turned off the air conditioning and just used the ceiling fan. Mosquitos were simply NOT an issue. We just thought it was a wonderful experience staying in these fantastic old structures which have been brought from various parts of Malaysia, and we did find them very comfortable. The entire place is very peaceful and a great escape from the main beach area. The food in the restaurant is excellent, although expensive by Malaysian standards, and the restaurant itself is a lovely place to eat with its views over the lagoon. Quite popular also given the number of non residents who would turn up to dinner. The staff were lovely and looked after us really well. It is about a 15 minute walk to the main beach area.

We did think the breakfast, which is delivered to your room and put in the fridge each evening, could be a little more generous. It is quite basic.

We love the elegant wooden houses that have been standing for more than 140 years. It's totally different vibes. The complimentary breakfast was really good. The busking session at night was really enjoyable!

We booked 4 rooms, most rooms with 2 adults, but each room get different portion of food, lol!
