The Lavender Patch

Very relaxing, comfortable and cozy. We were surrounded by nature. The chalet was exactly what we wanted and expected. We highly recommend it. Great walks nearby.

Everything was perfect, even though it was a cold weekend. The chalet had an electric fireplace and heater in the bathroom. So, no complaints.

Wandu - Fantastic sized room, all the kitchen and bathroom amenities. I really liked the tea/hot drink station and the little extras, like the milk, marshmallows and bottle of prosecco. Bed and pillows were very comfy, a smart tv to stream your shows and even the ceiling fans/aircon were welcome. You're surrounded by trees and it would be amazing to stay during the flowering lavender season. A 5 minute drive to the Weir and a 7 minute drive to town. It is a single lane drive on to the property and parking is available right next to the unit or in parking bays 30 metres away. A great place for a couple of nights stay.

The location was lovely and I enjoyed taking a walk around the gardens. It was very peaceful and the cottage was charming.

The shared kitchen was a bit greasy and I didn’t want to cook there (but had planned on going out anyway)

This place was amazing, so comfy, cosy and perfect for a weekend away. We felt bad as we had a toddler and a newborn that the neighbours could probably hear them crying and screaming at some stage (apologies!) as we shared a wall with them. The beds were comfy, the bathroom heated and heated towel rails were lovely additions, wifi was great and we streamed movies on the tv. The surrounds were beautiful my son loves nature and it was perfect to wander around with him. We will definitely be back!

It was very well equipped and clean. Beautiful gardens and good communal facilities. Good location, close to some good walks and attractions.

Exiting the property onto the road. Exit is on a bend, so visibility was poor, practically on the right. There were also bushes blocking the view in that direction (need cutting back). Perhaps a well positioned mirror may help to see oncoming vehicles.

The Lavender Patch was perfect. Secluded and quiet, and the bottle of prosecco was a lovely touch. A wonderful winter retreat.
