Le Chalet de Marguerite

Wir haben vereinbart das 20 min vor Ankunft eine kurze Info raus geht, wegen Netzproblemen erst vor Ort versendet, innerhalb weiniger Minuten kam die Besitzerin. Der empfang war sehr nett. eine kurze aber ausreichende Einweisung ins das Haus. Alles Top, auch Internet vorhanden. Bei Abreise ebenfalls, zu abgesprochenen Zeit ein Anruf 5 min später konnten wir ganz problemlos auschecken.

Set in a quiet location, but close enough to walk into town and down to the circuit. It was perfect for our weekend. The host was wonderful and I have no doubt that we'll be back. Magnific.

Great location and beautiful surroundings

The charming owner, who knows the area very well, met us on arrival. There is a driveway with parking for two or three cars. The cottage stands in its own grounds and is well furnished and maintained. The beds were very comfortable and there is a good sized dining table. There is a wood burning stove for heating, which is easy to operate. Although the kitchen is compact, it has all the appliances one would need, and a good array of basic requirements, like salt and even coffee. From the cottage, one can easily walk to the La Source entrance of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, which is a great advantage.

Although the kitchen is generally well equipped there was only one sharp knife, which was in fact very blunt. The living room has a comfortable sofa for two, but any more people do not have anywhere relaxing to sit.

The chalet is on a perfect location, just a few hunderd meters of the circuit. It is a beautiful surrounding, ideal for biking (and thus track visits). The living room is cosy and warm.

Kitchen supplies were so so to cook (meaning pans and cooking knifes).
