"Relaxing and stress free"

"Aug in Rocky Harbour"

Easy to find and get to town. Had everything we needed and comfortable.

The front door had permanent covering on the glass which blocked our best view of the water.

The property is conveniently located on the outskirts of Rocky Harbour with good views of the bay and stunning sunsets. It is comfortably furnished to a good standard.

The wifi connection was very poor, in particular during the evenings. Combined with a poor mobile phone service in the area, this made planning our days using the internet difficult and the TV was unusable.

Location, Ricky Harbour is a lovely base to explore Gros Morne from

The owners were very unresponsive, even before we arrived. We had a change in our plans with one more person joining us. The phone was never answered & the mailbox over days was full. When I did finally get a person they assured us they could provide a cot that would work just fine in the cabin. I had time at that point to cancel the booking but was convinced not too! The cot (blow up mattress which would not hold the air) was extremely unsuitable, in size… as it meant moving all of the living room furniture making it nonfunctional. I tried to contact the owners by phone & had one call back with very poor connection but said they would deal with the situation. We came home to no solution, again I tried to contact the owner by phone(mailbox full), email & text… no answer till two days later after we had left… claiming they didn’t know we were leaving that day! This is extremely poor service!

we had an amazing facility to make our own breakfast. Everything we could possibly need was stocked in the chalet The place was well organized and would rent here again and recommend highly to travelers from away. We were there for 3 days and never needed to bother the owner for anything
