De muggen, maar dat is per periode afhankelijk. Hier is rekening mee gehouden d.m.v. een spuitbus. Dat was heel fijn.

Einfach super urig und ein toller Platz zum Entspannen. Wir hatten beide Hütten und diesen Platz damit für uns ganz alleine. Die Aussicht, der Grill und der Whirlpool waren einfach klasse. Auch der Sitzplatz und die Feuerstelle auf der anderen Seite des kleines Baches sind einfach schön. Wir konnten morgens auf der gegenüberliegenden Wiese Rehe und Reiher beobachten. Die Lage erfordert selbstverständlich ein Auto, mit dem man recht schnell nach Golden kommt, wo es ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt. Die Umgebung hat viel zu bieten (Waptafalls, Emeraldlake u.v.m.) und so konnten wir eine tolle Zeit hier verbringen.

Leider gab es im Juli dort so viele Stechmücken, dass man es zeitweise kaum draußen ausgehalten hat. Lange Kleidung und Insektenspray sind unverzichtbar. Die Abdeckung des Whirlpools hat ebensoviele Mücken unter sich beherbergt, dass man immer ganz schnell alles runternehmen und direkt ins Wasser eintauchen musste, um nicht innerhalb kürzester Zeit völlig verstochen zu werden. Aber das gehört eben auch zur Natur und ist wenig planbar.

The quiet location watching the wildlife was lovely.

The mosquitoes when we arrived were horrendous. Cutting back some of the grasses near the path down to the cabins would have helped. Bad year for mosquitos everywhere though. Owners brought down some repellent which helped. Had to decant luggage as I hadn’t realised there was a walk down a narrow path to get to the cabin. Advance notice of that would have helped so it wasn’t near mosquitoes.

There was no air conditioning and it was an extremely HOT time we visited. The mosquitos were also horrible (no fault of the hosts) but you couldn’t enjoy the hot tub or porch views unfortunately.

We thought the cabin was very cute. Loved the art details around it. Loved how quiet it was there. The lady who greated us was very kind and sweet. I can tell she put a lot of love into the cabin.

First we were eaten alive by mosquitos. Had to run to car or cabin and made it impossible to sit outside to enjoy it. The hottub was full of bugs floating in it and it was dirty, only 1 jet worked and it was like Luke warm bath water we would have liked it to actually be hot as we spent most of our day hiking and were looking forward to it, we did not even try sat night to use. We could not stay in too long as the mosquitos were awful. The bathroom toilet was very hard to use when you are a bigger guy. Also did not like the parking as it was up a hill to get to it. Would have been nice to be able to park by the cabin saving us from the bugs.

The view is amazing ! Loved that we had access to a jacuzzi and sauna too! The owners are very welcoming.

We were charmed: just what we think a liitle cabin should be. Painted beam and door. Warm cozy decor. View across fields to mountains. Gazebo. The fresh air! Perfectly controlled temperature. Remote, pastoral, yet only 20 minutes from town.

Stairs going down from car to cabin are awkward - it was better to go beside them. Could be fixed. Add handrail? Would have liked to have met our hosts

The view was marvelous, and quiet surrounding was great.

The location is amazing and the cabin is so comfortable. We will definitely be back!
