Super locatie, centraal gelegen, ideaal om Cornwall te verkennen.

Geen mogelijkheid tot BBQ en onduidelijke communicatie daarover.

Lovely tranquil place, staff could not be more helpful.

Nicht weit vom Flughafen Newquai (30min) entfernt. Netter Bungalow, Lage versteckt, weitab vom Trubel. Ideal zum Entspannen aber auch touristische Attraktionen relativ schnell erreichbar. Super geeignet mit Kindern (große Wiese und Sandkiste..) oder auch mit Hunden. Küchenbereich gut ausgestattet, ideal für Selbstversorger. Alles (Wifi, Warmwasser etc. ) funktioniert bestens. Die Betten sind bequem. Es sind zu Fuß 25 Gehminuten zum Strand. Man kann von dort direkt in beide Richtungen auf den South-West-Path einsteigen, die Küstenwanderungen sind herrlich. Im kleinen Ort Mount Hawke gibt es ein kleines Geschäft, das ALLES ist: Post, Bäcker, Lebensmittelhandel. In Nachbarorten findet man aber auch Lidl oder Aldi. Am Strand ein nettes Lokal „UNICON“.

Es roch muffelig, aber das kann man offenbar auch in so einem freistehenden Bungalow nicht vermeiden. Das Häuschen lässt sich nur mit Auto erreichen. Die Zufahrt ist eine ca. 500m lange, völlig ausgewaschene Schotterstrasse. Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir den Hausschlüssel in einem Safe vorgefunden. Eine kurze Begrüssung mit einer kleinen Orientierungshilfe - der Vermieter war ja zeitgleich in der Anlage (wo kann man einkaufen, wie gehts zum Strand…) wäre wichtig für uns gewesen.

I liked the separate bedrooms and privacy that you got with the location. The floors were clean.

It could have been much cleaner. Like the towels for example. As soon as they got a bit wet they stank like old, dirty and dump towels. Bathroom went didn’t work so it was very misty and wet when taken shower. Windows could have been clean. Was a lot of spiders in the property. Couch covers could have been washes as they were very dirty. Pots and pans were badly scratched. There were no bin bags. We needed to buy our own. There were nice big windows, but a lot of bungalows facing each other, so could have done with some day curtains. The vacuum could have been proper cleaned as when povered it stunk like wet dog. Nothing to welcome you. No salt or sugar or hot chocolate/coffee/tea packs.
