"Trout Farm"

Location is great. Next to the main hike of Cocora Valley Furthermore the beds are really comfy.

Photos seen in the ad do not include the giant trout farm the Cabañas is a part of which is a shame and a farce. The beautiful rustic view in the pictures is never experienced as you will always see the farm and there is a lot of noise coming from the pumps also during the night!! The lights at night only make it worse. The female cook was not at all into hospitality and the person with the lowest moral on our trip. Her helper was very kind though as was the lady who helped with the check in/out. Seems to us the main thing of the owners is the trout farm and the Cabañas are an easy way of making extra money. Not worth the extra bucks as the price quality is no where to be seen. Please really check the bad reviews before booking this place, looks to us they somehow bought some reviews. We thought we booked a piece of heaven but instead we decided to only spend one night here and go to another place as it was really bad.

"Great location to the valley!"

I messaged the owner i was running late and he was available to meet me to pick up the keys. the location was beautiful and the views were amazing. the location is not meant to have a car drive down to the entrance but we had a large family and lots of luggage so it was difficult to maneuver a car in and out of the area. They offered free traditional campesino breakfast which my family was grateful for. There was no wifi, but i knew that ahead of time and I liked the quality time i spent with family being disconnected. we were minutes from the valley and the drive back home was beautiful.

The location is very comfortable for any day activity in Valle de Cocora, you can't get closer to the main areas for starting tours

The cabaña was cold and humid while being quite pricey, we just had a small bathroom heater which wasn't working properly. The water coming from the tap was brownish while a small bottle of water is priced 4000

"Great place but a bit rough."

Location is amazing. People are amazing. It is not for someone looking for a luxurious stay though.

The last 200 meters or so of the path is very very bad. My rental car did not have the best of tires and it was very difficult to het to the place.
