Lavender cottage

Great location, an ideal base for exploring the area. It is small but has everthing we needed.

The shower door did not stay shut so we had to wedge something for it to stay shut.

Self catering and the location was great.

Everything was brilliant

The cottage was small but perfectly formed! The owners have three small dogs which were very friendly. Lovely views on your doorstep. Very easy parking and everything all on one level. No steps.

Everything was good - ideal for a two night stop.

Lavender Cottage is set in a beautiful location with stunning views across the valley. We loved the peace and quiet, and the gentle pace of life and being on an equestrian farm. The cottage is very cosy, warm and has everything you need for a relaxing stay.

I can’t think of anything we didn’t like! The hosts were onsite and available to help if we needed anything. We brought a few food items and milk with us, which were needed as we didn’t find anywhere nearby to buy the basics!

The position and facilities were excellent

One of the best places me and the wife have ever stayed at The hosts, the views, the attention to detail, just absolutely bliss, Margaux and Truffles the small farmyard dogs following us around - honestly this place is heaven Can’t recommend high enough and will definitely return again

Narrow roads getting in but totally worth it once you arrive

The location was not only stunning, but it was easy to get into Gloucester or Ross from the farm. The walking was amazing, with fantastic views.
