Everything was perfect! The place was clean and catered to all of our needs. The breakfast provided was delicious. The location is spectacular. I can not fault this property or the hosts in any way, they were exceptional in every regard.

I only wish I could have stayed longer. There is NOTHING I didn't like about this property or the stay.

Clear check in instructions, place set up and warm for our arrival, facilities and kitchenette and breakfast supplies were wonderful. All well thought out.

First night there was a creature screeching inside the loft which was loud.. but we found it in the morning and had a comfortable stay regardless.

"Cosy cottage in the hills."

The property is ideal for couples looking for a private high country retreat. It has everything you need for a short or extended stay. The bed was comfortable and warm; the bathroom and kitchenette were well-designed and clean. The couch made it easy to relax. Heating and cooling upstairs in the bedroom. Fire box and small wall heater downstairs - needed the fire!! Breakfast stuff provided a wide choice including bacon, eggs etc which I didn't need but the thought was there. Large tv but no streaming services. Owners responded to request promptly and helpfully.

The place was great but doesn't have wifi which I didn't even think to check :( so had to hotspot off my phone. I was by myself and it was freezing so I would have appreciated some kindling to get the fire going when I got in from work - managed to chop some but it was a struggle as not skilled in that area. The other thing to note is that the property is up a steep road and driveway which was a real disincentive to going for a walk.

"Fantastic, cosy, warm & spacious."

It was very cosy & spacious and the hosts provided a great DIY breakfast. Plenty of firewood also which was great as the weather was cold & wet!

If we had to say anything not good it would be couch not very comfortable & no tv in the bedroom. But everything was great for a weekend away.

Beautifully supplied. We were travelling with goods from our earlier stays but the food supplied was above and beyond expectations.

Probably the only downside would be the need for a toilet upstairs.
