Le Passage

Very cute. Well positioned a short drive from the station in Martigny. Plenty of space for couple and adult friend. The ceilings are not high but fine if you are 1.80m. Stairs are steep but fine if you are of average mobility. Great shower. Good parking. Plenty of space all round.

Los escalones son algo estrechos y para una persona mayor, puede ser dificultoso ir al baño de noche por tener que bajar desde la habitación.

La situation géographique du chalet, l'équipement complet, accueillant pour les chiens, la gentillesse, la flexibilité et la disponibilité de la propriétaire, le calme, les chamois qui viennent rendre visite tous le soirs, le jardin, la proximité des centres commerciaux, les multiples possibilités de randonnée autour du chalet,

Chalet un peu sombre, les escaliers intérieurs non adaptés aux personnes à mobilité réduite.

The location itself was really nice, on a more-or-less steep hillside of a valley. It was also very quiet. Everything was clean, and sufficient stock of utensils were available. We especially liked the bedroom in the basement, as it does not get very hot there. The hosts were also very responsive. Of course, we forgot that in Switzerland the power outlets just are a bit different, as a result of which we could not use some of our own devices. We asked the hosts, and they offered their help, but through other means we also did find a suitable adapter.

A fan would have been nice. Although the bedroom in the basement was fine, the bedrooms on the top floor did become hot, and then having a fan is nice. Also, for people like, us having a suitable power adapter would have been nice. We solved it now in time. The ceiling on the ground floor is a bit low, I guess the support beams for the top floor are at 1m85 or so. Tall people may have to bend a bit. Occasionally, we smelled something like pot, our guess was that the neighbors next door might be smoking some.

It was in a lovely setting and it was quaint. The house was very clean and well equipped.

For 2 couples the second room was downstairs and the bed a little small. It could do with a little modernising.

Great location. Cost chalet. Clean and tidy. We loved our stay!

If perfection has a name, it is "Le Passage". It's lovely!
