Beautiful place in a very peaceful and remote area, so many exciting things to do near the holiday home. Can recommend it to everyone that just wants to catch a relaxed time and wants to enjoy the stunning scenery of Switzerland.

This is an amazing place - restored and decorated with a lot of love and hard work. Has everything you need for a serene and comfortable break. Le Trétien is a village out of a postcard, both magically isolated and also central to many outdoor activities. Damien, Tiffany and Annie are lovely caring hosts. Can't recommend enough.

Everything about this trip was great. First and foremost, our host, Damien, was incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. We had some very pleasant conversations with him and he also gave us great tips for activities and hikes so we could make the most of our time in Le Tretien. The lower level of the chalet, in which we stayed, is very thoughtfully and tastefully decorated and equipped. One can clearly see that every object has a story behind it and has been very carefully selected so as to enhance the aesthetic of the place while also offering functionality and comfort. The chalet's somewhat remote situation and general atmosphere offer a much welcome break from the usual busy pace of modern life, while also having the advantage of being well connected and a mere 15 min bus ride away from more busy and lively destinations such as Les Marecottes. We really loved everything about our stay here.

There is really nothing about which to complain, everything was great. If we had to be very picky, perhaps the only thing which could be singled out as an area of opportunity for improvement is the bed. The same cool vintage aesthetic could be kept, but possibly with a newer mattress offering a bit more comfort and support? But again, this is being picky, the bed may not be the most comfortable we've ever slept in, still it was sufficient for a good's night sleep.

A paradise if staying at a charming cottage in a small remote village in the Swiss Alps is about your dream. The place was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. No restaurants, no stores, no nothing in the village that consists of a couples of dozens of centuries old stone walled, slate tiled wooden houses, but I really enjoyed the luxury of inconvenience.

It was hot. Could have used a fan.
