A lovely self contained cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view of the mountains was beautiful and the honey from the property was delicious.

Amazing experience, Raymond was such a good host. He greeted us and gave us an insight about Skye. The chalet was truly amazing and we would love to visit again!

"The worst trip ever and would not recommend this accommodation to anyone else at all. This accommodation should be remov"

1.0

Nothing

The accommodation was built out of the garage of the owner to start off. The owner was so rude and arrogant and when we called him to find the address he said “where the bloody hell are you?” That’s not how you talk to a customer at all. And he lives like 5 steps away from the accommodation within the same gate which is not mentioned on the website. Two tiny rooms and the tiniest kitchen and bathroom. The lock on the bathroom door is very challenging to navigate, my wife was stuck inside the toilet for a whole 10 minutes. The accommodation is extremely cold, added to that the heating is controlled by the owner who is next door which made it even more uncomfortable. The owner said to us that he would increase the temperature to 25 °C which never happened. The blinds are transparent where the owner kept watching and there was no privacy at all. This accommodation is not pet friendly at all like mentioned in the website, there were extra added charges that we got to know about when we arrived there. The complementary fudge was expired like a few months ago. The address mentioned on the website was false, you have to travel a few miles up the hill to reach the place. The owner said that the photos were taken 10 years ago. Another key thing that make this trip miserable is the fact that you had to travel 12 miles for shops even to get necessities. There’s no shops nearby whatsoever. The furnitures are so delicate that we were scared to use them. We booked a trip for 3 nights but had to leave the next day because of how uncomfortable and unsafe we felt.

"Stunning location and rustic atmosphere!!"

The view was stunning and the chalet was clean, cozy, quaint, quiet and relaxing.

One of the single beds creaked every time you moved.

The location is stunning. The cottage is well made and equipped.

Advertising as dog friendly, however, on arrival, we were told straight away in the door that no dogs were allowed on the bed. We were also told that the dogs couldn't use the garden just after 8 pm because they had small kids. This isn't really a dog friendly place. If we had known this in advance, we would have booked elsewhere. It also felt awkward that the host managed our heating. We didn't want to call them every time it was too cold or too hot. The WiFi was also poor.

"We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay!"

The hosts were very friendly and the cabin cosy, with lovely details and clean. The view is breathtaking.

It's quite small for three adults..
