Butterfly Cabin

Everything!! We moved here in a hurry, after finding that our original accommodation wasn't suitable (long story!) and managed to find The Cabin available. We were tired and nervous after a very long journey and with a bad experience behind us, but we found that The Cabin was PERFECT! With a cosy bed, a huge telly, a kitchen and a lounge area, there was everything we could possibly need I a small space. Sarah and Christine had thoughtfully put out some milk, fruit and chocolates. Everything was pristine and we loved it. Despite being away from the area we had planned to be in, we found plenty to do. We highly recommend an evening in Seacape, the small ferry to Piel Castle, a day in Whitehaven and the Six Lakes coach tour we booked through Booking.com. The accommodation was perfect, in a small village with a local shop. The train station was around 30 mins walk away where we took a train to Whitehaven (to have a car-free day) and it's a lovely journey. And the best thing, at night.... the silence! The Cabin will be our first port of call next time we return to the Lake District.

The Cabin was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Me and my partner booked last minute and it was delightful! The Cabin has all facilities you need including an air fryer which we didn’t realise until arrival! The hosts provide an abundance of things like milk tea and coffee with utensils, extra pillows, playing cards and a cooling fan. Lovely views of black Combe every morning and a comfy cabin. We will definitely be back! Thank you Sarah and Charlotte x

Loved our stay, felt very private and with incredible views. Also the visit from the cows of an evening made it more incredible, lovely cabin, clean and had everything you could ask for
