Avocet Cottage

After reading some of the reviews I had expected it to be fairly small and there to not be much there. But it is a great size room, so comfortable, the bathroom is very nice, it’s very clean, and they leave a bottle of wine for you on arrival. There were mini milks and tea bags and coffee sachets, plenty of mugs and cups and cutlery. There is also an allocated parking space for the cottage. Having never been to the village before I was pleasantly surprised to find it only a few steps away from the spa and around the corner from the Apple Inn pub. I would 100% stay again and highly recommend to everyone! There was also a Christmas tree in the room and lights outside with it being December which is always such a lovely touch!!

Beautiful cottage, perfect for our stay, spa was beautiful and just across the courtyard with the pub for dinner and breakfast 1.minute walk from the cottage. Everything about the stay was easy and well thought through making for a very relaxing weekend.

Well equipped, clean and well presented. Parking included.

It would have been nice to have some heating on before we arrived as it felt cold coming in. But easily remedied by putting on the heating. Also the heating in the bathroom did not work.

Excellent cottage and location. We stayed as running a local half marathon. Used the hour pass at the spa which was an ideal way to recover after our run on a very wet and windy morning.

Super clean! Secure garden for the dogs.

Two single beds pushed together was abit uncomfortable in the middle
