Clean and tidy

the privacy and location on the lake was absolutely perfect! The lake was well stocked with plenty of Carp. the treehouse itself is well designed and the perfect place to stay for a weekend break. the outdoor seating areas were wonderful and the firepit was a real treat!

the heaters made some noise, but we turned them off overnight.

The views, we didn’t see any staff while we stayed.

Noisy heaters, not a lot of hot water, a green light was left on in the treehouse all night. 150 pounds a night is definitely overpriced for what we got. The trees need trimming back desperately as you can’t cast properly. We wasn’t told you can only bring disposable bbqs.

The treehouse has its own fishing peg right by the side of the building. The room was cosy and the sofa comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and glasses, utensils etc of good quality. Welcome box was great - tea bags, coffee sachets, cake and sweets. Good size fridge freezer. Microwave. Full size oven and hob. Bathroom small but shower great! Loved the wallpaper! Liked the table with benches rather than chairs. Loads of room to park. Great outdoor sitting areas, one with fab fire pit that we made good use of, and one on the decking, perfect for brekkie in warmer weather.

My partner is 6ft 3in and could only just reach the glasses on the top kitchen shelf! A small folding stool would be useful. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, I think the mattress could be better! In the bathroom the basin plug mechanism jammed every time I tried to use it. It took a lot of jiggling to open it again! Debated reporting it whilst we were still there, but as it was only a two night stay we put up with it. I'm sure if we had mentioned it to Rachel she'd have come over. Lastly...COAT HOOKS! The tiny ones between the bed/sofa are no use for full length coats!! Maybe something nearer the door, where the notification posters are could be sorted???

The tresshouse is set next to a lovely big willow tree and right on the lake. Beautiful and clean inside, and lovely outside area to sit. 2 pubs both serving good food nearby and a shop and chip shop. The lake/sire is very clean. Would love to return one day.

That we had to leave.

This is a superb property, everything was just perfect. so clean and comfortable inside and out. so well thought about for a fisherman’s needs. Excellent maintenance all round. we had an amazing stay and didn’t want to leave. Rachel the host was friendly and helpful and the place is a credit to her. The outside area was as nice as the inside and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We shall be booking again for sure.
