Wolstonbury Getaway

I just couldn’t get the function of the water in the shower to work it was either cold or boiling hot no matter where u moved it too! Not sure what I done wrong

Everything. Location excellent, hygiene perfect, facilities amazing.

We couldn’t stay longer

Lovely self contained hut. It was very comfortable and everything worked perfectly. It was easy to find and convenient for our walk along the South Downs Way. The pub next door is very good.

The cabin was lovely. Situated behind the pub, away from the main road overlooking beautiful scenery. It was small perfect for a couple. Plenty of storage for clothes and a little kitchen if you chose to cook. It was spotlessly clean and in a very quiet location, close to Hassocks train station and on main transport links (there is a bus stop outside the pub). We really enjoyed our visit.

There was nothing we didn't like. The only teeny tiny gripe I had was that the only mirror is on the other side of the sink. As someone with very very poor eyesight I found it difficult to put make up on. So, could do with a mirror on a wall somewhere. Aside from that it was lovely.

Nothing

For a one night quick stop this was perfect for us. My husband is 6ft 4 and we slept well in the pull down bed. Clean and it had everything we needed. We were only staying one night as cycled the Southdowns Way and thankfully the pub next door did great food.

Might I suggest that guests staying could perhaps have breakfast at the pub? Maybe some sort of negotiation with them? We had no food with us and the pub wouldn’t allow us to have breakfast (we would have paid) and had to cycle up to the golf club, which did serve a fab bacon buttie and proper coffee.
