This property was fantastic! There was 2 adults and 4 children (13,8,7,2) and the size of the property was perfect. There is an en suite to the master bedroom which was ideal so I didn’t wake anyone up (I’m an early riser)! There was 2 outdoor tables on the large patio, perfect for our bbq and morning coffees. The main bathroom was also roomy. This lodge had everything I needed…and more! Very well equipped, there was even a small welcome basket with some biscuits. We also used the bbq which coal/firelighters etc were provided. We cooked breakfast/lunch and dinners at the lodge and the dishwasher was super handy! There were plenty of plates/cups/glasses etc. The fire burning stove indoors was such a lovely addition and we were also able to chop up our own firewood if we needed more. It was a super comfortable stay and I wish I had booked it longer than 3 nights! The Alexa was an added bonus that I didn’t even think about but I used it all day! The location was ideal, 10 minute drive into Banchory. Hosts were fab and dropped off a travel cot for the little one at short notice! The outdoor space was good, there was football goals, small seesaw and balls. I took tennis, table tennis and some outdoor activities but to be honest the boys spent their days making their own fun, building dens and wondering the lodge area. There are only two lodges which means the location has a very private feel, I can’t wait to come back for summer for longer, take friends and book both lodges!

I have nothing negative to say about this property! A little park/outdoor play area would have been an extra special addition if I had to say something!

Beautiful, comfortable lodge. Plenty of space, lovely decor. Great kitchen and 2 bathrooms was a bonus. They even left a little welcome basket with some local produce 👍Everything you could possibly need. Ursula came to visit when we arrived and she was so nice.

Was a little out the way but very quiet. Would be great to have a hot tub as they have a lovely balcony.

Nice quiet location on edge of Banchory, loved the wood burner, comfy beds and the welcome basket was a lovely touch.

Secluded quiet location yet fairly quick and easy access to the major trunk road. Children were able to play in safety in grassy area away from the road.

Parking just OK for three cars, but with two lodges would have been difficult with two cars per lodge. When cooking for six, and extra medium saucepan and a measuring jug would have been useful

We like the quiet location and parking . Comfortable beds . Nice and relaxed holiday .

Beautiful lodge in a tranquil setting and wonderful helpful hosts. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with a very thoughtful welcome basket. Great location for touring Deeside and the north east. Will look forward to a return visit.
