Ogof Aberporth

My 3rd visit to Aberporth staying at Ogof. It’s perfect, well positioned on the coast path, quiet, has everything you need for a comfortable stay

Location was great Beach was fantastic Locals all very friendly Amenities were All that we needed Place very nice

Directions could have been clearer And there was no loo brush

We absolutely love staying here, the location is the best.

Would have been great If the handle mechanism on the bedroom window could have been fixed during our stay. My husband slept on the sofa a couple of nights he was too hot.

The accommodation was great as expected, washer and dryer were a great bonus. walk along the cliffs and short walk to the beach and town. Great value for money. Great base to visit other beautiful places too. Great Pizza Restaurant Brewery on the main road definitely worth a visit Parking a great bonus

The only thing letting down the property which is absolutely no reflection on the accommodation was the next door house, a bit run down.

Het meest bijzonder van deze locatie is de ligging van de accommodatie: binnen 50 meter sta je op een prachtig wandelpad met adembenemend uitzicht op de westkust van Wales. De accommodatie zelf is ook prima: echt heel fijne bedden en ook een ruime keuken. Daar zaten wij het meest, de woonkamer is ook prima, maar hebben we niet gebruikt. Ook een heel fijn contact per mail met de gastvrouw.

Nou, eigenlijk was alles prima! Heb hooguit een paar suggesties die het nóg leuker zouden maken: ik zou persoonlijk het terras wat meer vergroenen, dan is het veel aantrekkelijker om daar te gaan zitten. En ik begreep weinig van de manier van afval scheiden en waar je het moest laten. Wat instructies in de wasruimte zouden helpen. In de keuken mist een goede koekenpan en de maatbeker is ook aan vervanging toe. Het aansluitende pand is inderdaad een bouwval, daar is al genoeg over gezegd. Ik wilde dat ik het kon kopen,want deze plek heeft zoveel moois in zich! Maar dit zijn echt minuscule puntjes. Zo'n ligging in het leuke Aberporth met van alles op loopafstand kom je echt niet vaak tegen. Een pareltje!
