Hygna Chalets

The chalets are beautifully designed to be comfortable and practical. While our main plan was to hike in the mountains around Alpbachtal, we also wanted a pleasant place to stay on rainy days. The chalet was great for both, from the private whirpool with a view towards the mountains, the shared infinity pool in the main building, the fireplace in the chalet to get warm after a long day in the mountains. The breakfasts were delicious and nourishing and the hosts went all the way to make us feel at home, including helping us pick the right hikes for each day.

It was certainly among the most pleasant places I had ever stayed and it would be hard to find anything to be critical about, but perhaps the WiFi could be slightly faster (it was sufficient to keep work Teams calls stable, but that´s about the limit).

Just perfect getaway place. Smell of wood, flowers and mountains just everywhere: pure pleasure!
