Los Andenes Cave

Helaas een slechte ervaring met insectenplaag op de accomodatie (kan gebeuren!). Echter daarna zeer teleurstellende ervaring met de eigenaar over terugkrijgen van boekingsgeld: niet nakomen van gedane toezeggingen en vervolgens zeer slechte communicatie hierover. Uiteindelijk hebben we, met bemiddeling van booking.com, veel minder van ons boekingsgeld teruggekregen dan wat eigenaar in eerste instantie had toegzegd (waarbij eigenaar ook nog bleef liegen over het totale boekingsbedrag, heel bijzonder want gewoon terug te zien in booking). Dus: mooie cave op mooie remote locatie, helaas erg slechte service van de eigenaar, wij voelen ons opgelicht. Geen aanrader.

This was our second visit to Los Andenes Cava as we love it so much. It is very secluded and quiet, we love the aesthetic of the interior, and the outside area has an incredible view and catches the sun until late in the evening. The bed is extremely comfortable and unlike other places we’ve stayed, the inside of the cave stays naturally cool, so you never wake from being too hot. There are some amazing walks nearby. It is very secluded, so not the ideal place if you’re hoping to walk to local restaurants, but the kitchen is very well equipped, so we tend to do a food shop at a supermarket and cook every day.

It is quite hard to find from the address - our GPS doesn’t seem to recognise the address, so we did get lost the first stay. The bathroom is fine and has a lovely view, but the shower is a little tricky to find a good temperature
