The scenery, tranquility and the owner happy to have guests wander the property, enjoying the flowers , 50+ species of birds, rabbits, possums & kangaroos, just to name a few. A detailed booklet of the history of the farm, safety aspects, and general information.

Comfortable cosy old school cottage. Lovely surroundings. Really enjoyed meeting and chatting to Ron. At 96 he’s amazing

Charming old cottage which has been renovated and modernised to make it a very comfortable spot. Close to town but set in tranquil and picturesque surrounds. Would stay again.

We had the most wonderful stay in the cozy little Jarrah cottage! It’s old, quirky, and full of character – the kind of place that feels like stepping back in time. Nothing is modernised, but that’s exactly what makes it so special, a true escape from reality. The cottage itself was spotless and very well cared for, which made it feel so welcoming. We visited with our toddler who absolutely adored exploring the grounds and spending time outdoors. The fireplace is the heart of the home and the only heating source, we loved keeping it lit, it added to the charm and coziness of the stay. Ron provided us with all necessary supplies. A tip for future guests: pack warm socks, as the floors can get Ron, the owner, is such a kind and generous man, incredibly intelligent and wonderful to talk to. His story books were a highlight for us. We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a break from the modern world and a chance to slow down. We will definitely, definitely, definitely be back!

Peacefulness the location was central to most places, the place was clean with lots of bird life the host was friendly there was freshly picked fruit waiting

There was nothing that I didn't like, it was great
