Aldgate Creek Cottage

Beautiful cottage in a great location within a gorgeous village. Every detail taken care of by friendly and very helpful hosts. Great breakfast provisions. A wonderful couple of days spent in the Adelaide Hills.

Beautiful gardens, receptive and informative host, loads of yummy goodies on arrival.

Road noise (there isn't anything tge hosts can do about it, though)

We stayed at Aldgate Creek Cottage for two nights and had an absolutely magical stay. The property itself is beautiful, with so many thoughtful touches — from handy charger cables to plenty of guides and games for cosy evenings in. Terry, our main point of contact, was fantastic: friendly, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. We had such a relaxing time and it was the perfect base for exploring the Adelaide Hills and nearby wineries. We would definitely love to return!

Honestly I loved everything about this cottage, from the cottage itself with spa, two balconies and everything one could need in a BnB to the beautiful gardens with a creek that runs right through them. The hosts were incredible and extremely thoughtful and this is the first time I've given a perfect 10 out of 10 to any hotel, apartment, rental or BnB in my life!

The cold! As a lifetime resident of a beachside suburb of Adelaide who hasn't spent much time on the hills I wasn't used to how cold it gets in the hills in winter. Just pack extra layers of clothing if your not used to that weather.

There was a great selection of cereals to pick from plus ample fresh Milk and Orange juice, all condiments and a kitchen that had almost everything, we didn't need to get anything else from the supermarket and if we did need something, the supermarket is 3 minutes away. A number of restaurants minutes away and a cosy pub across the road made this the best and friendliest Accommodation available in Aldgate. Parking was so easy, definitely book here...

Breakfast options were awesome especially with local products. Location was excellent. Heating options and insulation was great too

A magical house set in a beautiful garden, with so many gestures of genuine hospitality by the marvellous hosts - what a gem! We had a truly enjoyable time, even though the weather was not the best - with better weather relaxing in the garden would be joyous. The quality of the house, the comfort and thoughtful touches made it a real home we were happy to be in even in poor weather.
