The views and tranquility were exceptional The accomodation was excellent and well appointed The cows were super cute !

The house's location was truly exceptional, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the developed world. Here, you can truly relax and leave behind your daily worries and thoughts. The house itself was clean and tastefully decorated in a cozy farm style.

1. When we arrived, the house was teeming with ants, and even a small crumb could attract hundreds of them. It was certainly close to nature! 2.TV was outdated, lacking YouTube access, leaving the kids quite bored in the evenings. Additionally, our house didn't have a dishwasher, which made cleaning up after meals a bit more labor-intensive. 3. No wifi / the owner had some issues with Internet connection. 4. After we left, the owner claimed that two pillows were missing and requested $30 per piece as compensation. Despite our repeated explanations that we hadn't taken or needed their used pillows, it was an unpleasant experience.

The location was very peaceful and the facilities very good.

What a wonderful stay. Huge thank you to Ashley for her hospitality. We stayed in the Family cottage which was impeccably clean, with everything we could have needed for a 5 night stay - including a washing machine (which we didn't use). The great thing about this cottage, is that it is closest to the animals. This was a highlight for our 10 year old daughter who could feed them right in front of our cottage. The animals are super friendly and love being hand-fed and patted.

Hands down the best accommodation we have stayed at in the south west. The atmosphere at the property is amazing with the birds and animals surrounding. The property was so comfortable and great for our young family.

The location was very picturesque and peaceful, the chalet was very tastefully and comfortably fitted out. our hosts Adam & Ashlea were awesome, we couldn't want for a better holiday. Thank you

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Karrak Reach Forest Retreat and I must say, it exceeded all of our expectations. The highlight of our stay came on the 3rd day when our rental car unexpectedly broke down. With no delivery service available and our essential items running low, we were starting to feel a bit worried. However, Adam and Ashlea, the owners of the retreat, came to our rescue in the most generous and kind-hearted way. They offered to lend us their own car so we could stock up on food for the remainder of our stay. Their quick thinking and willingness to help truly saved the day! Aside from this incredible act of kindness, our time at Karrak Reach was nothing short of amazing. The retreat house itself was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. We particularly enjoyed feeding the animals and playing with their adorable dog, Bailey. It was such a joy to be surrounded by nature and have the opportunity to unwind in such a beautiful setting. Adam and Ashlea, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your exceptional hospitality. We highly recommend Karrak Reach Forest Retreat to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. This place truly deserves a 5-star review!
