Levi Log Cabin - Viprakka 4A

Host send a message with the pin code the night before our check-in date and instructions on how to check into the log cabin. Pretty straight forward. Host is really extremely responsive and that is so comforting to know. I feel bad for contacting her multiple times on how to use the sauna, the dryer, the washing machine, the fire place, etc..LOL.. So, i hope the host will print out a written instructions on how to use her facilities and leave it in the cabin for future guests to safe herself from late night messages from her guests! Anyway, we uses the sauna almost every day, the washing machine and dryer is easy to operate once you know the instructions. We prepared all our breakfast and some dinners here. Even though the place is for 8 but we managed to squeeze 9 persons (5 Asian size adults, 2 teens and 2 children) as we really want to stay as a family. We worked around with the sleeping arranging and it's all good. 76 years old dad sleeping by the fire and he likes it that way. Yes, we drag a bed and put in the living room! 76 years old mother-in-law sleeping in the room downstairs (near the kitchen to avoid climbing the stairs) and the rest of us upstairs in 2 bedrooms and another open concept bedroom for my 2 teens. There is a safety gate upstairs but my kids all big and hence safety is not much a problem for us. We just have to walked down carefully down the stairs when we want to go to the toilets.

The place was not heated warm enough prior to our arrival. The reason was that the place was empty for a few days before us. It will be good if the place is heated at least a day in advance prior to our arrival should the place be empty. So, the first night, we were really cold but subsequently the place was boiling and we feel much much better. We could just wear our home pjs ie Hubby was just t-shirt and short pants. The rest of us in thin comfy cotton long sleeves and long pants :) The toilets is located near the main door and that is a bit inconvenient if you need to go for a pee middle of the night! But then it's a real log cabin with real fire place! So, we just have to get use to it. Tips: Please bring your own slippers. We bought some cute fleece slide on bedroom slippers to walk around the cabin. My dad did not wear any and he was ok. Some evening I just popped outside the cabin with my fleece Santa slippers to take some pictures or when I need to fetch the fire woods from the storeroom just outside the cabin.

The cabin was cozy and great for our party size. It was conveniently located.

An upstairs toilet would have helped but not a deal breaker.

It had absolutely everything plus extra, beds were so comfy and the cabin was absolutely beautiful such a warm cozy place to stay for our week in levi.. we are hooked and won't stay anywhere else

All was perfect

The Cabin is very well equipped, a beautiful cabin in a lovely location. The Host is lovely and has thought of everything you need. There is sauna & wood burner which is just what you require after a day in the snow.
