Tranquility! The cottage is well positioned in a beautiful area with gorgeous views to die for.

There is actually nothing that I didn't like. I actually planning a trip back to the place 🙂

"Perfect stay!"

We have been travelling for 10 months and this is one of the nicest places we have stayed in! As soon as we arrived, we decided to extend our stay by another night because we loved it so much. The apartment is huge and has everything we needed and more! It’s a joy to spend the day out hiking and knowing you have a place as cozy as this to return to. Lakin is absolutely lovely and gave us lots of tips for hikes and food, all of which proved to be amazing! The animals were another bonus. We were especially privileged to get a visit from the cat one morning. We will definitely stay here again when back in Drakensberg!

There is nothing not to like. This place is amazing.

Room and stay was great.

Because there were no restaurants open in or near Winterton, we had to get some take-a-ways, which is no problem. BUT, because loadshedding was between 07.00pm and 09.30pm, and with the plugs for the microwave not being active during loadshedding, we could only warm our take-a-way food after 09.30pm. Therefore forced to have a pretty late supper.
