Hideaway - A Couples Retreat

Such a treat being surrounded by birds it was so peaceful and the nearby walking track was perfect 👌 It had everything we needed and more. Very good communication, was such a delight 😊

Very quiet location with loads of native birds serenading in the morning, which was lovely.

Gardens need weeding, cobwebs on the verandah need taming

I loved the quiet location, so peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed.

The only thing was the water pressure but we realise that can't necessarily be helped :)

Logement en pleine nature à 2 min d'Akaroa ! Repos et tranquillité avec tout le confort nécessaire. Nous n'avons pas eu besoin de l'allumer mais la cheminée est un vrai plus quand il fait froid. Échanges par messagerie avec les hôtes qui sont sympathiques et réactifs.

Pour nous, l'extérieur manquait un peu de respiration et de luminosité du fait de la végétation dense mais cela procure une totale intimité que d'autres cherchent certainement.

Seclusion and the quiet location and easy drive to town

A wonderful and cosy cottage set in a beautiful garden with birdsong. Well equipped and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and took the trouble to make sure everything was right. Pleasant walk to town. A very enjoyable stay.

A little road noise from motorbikes at times, but very quiet at night when it most counts.

It is a quaint cabin that makes for a unique experience. Close to the village centre.
