Tebuah Private Lodge, Mabalingwe

The views (seeing giraffes walking in the distance while swimming in the pool is something special), the bedrooms (everyone had their own space to go to), the kitchen (had everything needed and more), the outdoor dining area (so much time spent here), the braai area (something special), the game viewer (rented as extra and very much worth it). Oh and we can't forget about Jonathan, he warmly welcomed us and made sure everything was perfect throughout our entire stay.

Everything was great, maybe contact with the person taking care of the booking was a bit hard to get responses sometime, but overall everything worked out. She made sure to have all vehicle information (rental car info couldn't be given till the day of check-in and that was totally fine) ahead of time. One suggestion I would give is to add driving directions...there was road construction happening when we were there and google gave us a very interesting backroad option, it was a good thing we all had high clearance vehicles (recommended anyway to get to the lodge). It made for a good adventure.

The size, location and ‘Wow’ factor was simply sensational. Made for a wonderful family holiday even though the weather wasn’t ideal. Yet, the grandeur of the setting was matched by the personal and genuine attention of Jonathan, the on site staff member who was unobtrusive yet very attentive.

Simply not much. The pool pump was loud on the first evening and died in the morning. However Jonathan very quickly arranged for it to be replaced the same day and it was up and running quietly by the evening.

Beautiful house, lovely view, tranquil and relaxing, wonderful staff! Jonathan was very attentive and made our stay extra special.
