The cabin was in a lovely setting.. the swans were lovely to watch from our vakcony.. it was also very close to Caernarfon which was handy for shops etc The cabin was perfect for our family. Gill was very helpful and quick to respond to our queries .

Location was great, beautiful over looking the lake, close to all facilities on site. Close to local family days out and beach. Can recommend green wood forest for families not the cheapest but worth the money, really good day out. Pool was an extra bonus for our older son he loved it, not sure how he braved the cold as it did say it was heated but I'm not too sure how much as it was very cold. Bar/ restaurant was lovely onsite, staff really nice and very helpful. Cafe and shop also great everything you need is to hand. Singer on whilst we were there which was lovely and the kids enjoyed the on site park. Chalet had everything we needed, even swim nappies that we forgot to bring. The beds are very comfy and it was very clean. Kitchen also kitted out well. Excellent communication with owner Gill, very professional and as a last minute booking all information was given prompt and chalet ready on our arrival.

The temperature of the chalet was hard to regulate, heaters were good and heated up quickly but it soon got hot. Once you turned them off the temp dropped quickly, with young children it was difficult to manage especially at night time. Some of the fixtures like curtain poles and bathroom mirrors were very rusted and we felt there was a damp feel across the accomodation, the heaters helped and humidifiers did too but you could see how full the humidifiers were as there was a lot of moisture in the air.

Everything was great, location, chalet, ambiance, everything.

The WIFI device was present and connected to our phones however there was no internet.

Everything was great, except for the parts that were bad.

The kitchen had a slight sewage smell.
