Casa do Loureiro

We actually got lost driving up to a place, it was getting dark and no internet on our phones. Luckily, were able to call host and she met us late in the evening and walked to a place. Thank you!!

It was an amazing stay surrounded by beautiful landscape and delightful people. The house is comfortable and cozy. You can feel the love that was put into receiving the guests. Thank you for hosting us. We can't wait to come back

Nothing, all was perfect

The serenity of the village and the host is extremely hospitable. We even had dinner cooked for us. Everything was sparkling clean . The beds were comfortable. The village is extremely beautiful. Overall an amazing experience

Adelina was wonderful! We arrived at the tiny but beautiful village on a cold and rainy day. After snuggling in and heating our little house, Adelina came by and offered to make us supper. She made us a great supper and we enjoyed every minute of her and her husband's company. We used Google translate to our good advantage. Enjoyed the supper she made in the local community building and watched some football with the locals. We were supposed to spend the next night in nearby Piodao but scrapped that for an extra night in Porto due to the cold weather. We did visit Piodao and found it to be overly commercial where as Arganil really seemed like the real deal.
