Room heating difficult to control. Often too hot

Property is well located.

We believed it would have its own terrace but it was shared which is was issue for us as we were traveling with 2 dogs. One of which is not people friendly. Hence why we booked. The stairs for our 2 year old were also a bit steep. However the property own was very undertaking and was open for a refund if we had to move. We ended up staying due to the service and her openness.

Our host was lovely and helpful, and the location was easy to find. Less than 10 minutes walk from the station, and right on the main street through town. Ideally, it would be great to have a toilet on the main level, but I realise that retro-fitting and old/traditional Swiss cottage is not simple. The modern fittings in the old-style cottage were lovely, including modern ovens, dishwasher and Nespresso machine (with capsules provided). There were a number of food and drinking venues close by too. I would stay here again for sure, as the positives of this place clearly outweigh the few, if any, negatives.

Nothing really. The cottage was a little warm but opening the windows let cooler air in. With the two levels being ground floor and basement, the rooms were a little on the dark side. But these are minor inconveniences.

Everything was perfect - if you could dream up your perfect accommodation in a perfect setting in a perfect location - it would be Schnapskeller!

The apartment is in the perfect location at the top of the Main Street, a 10 minute walk from the train station and grocery shops. It was very quiet and private with a balcony area to sit outside and relax after a long day. The bed was divine and the shower excellent. The kitchen contained everything that we needed. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a family or small group.
