"Overall it was a nice first visit to the mountains and we enjoyed staying at the chalet. I feel like the clean up staff"

6.0

The view from the deck was absolutely amazing and the view from the hot tub was somewhat nice too. Brush kind of blocks an even better view from the hot tub.

The beds were super uncomfortable almost like sleeping on stone. The place was extremely dusty and all of us would wake up every morning with dried up blood in our nose. (Maybe a new air filter?)The check out procedure is a little extreme in my opinion considering we paid almost $2,000 to stay there for a week and on top of it to basically spend the last day of our vacation cleaning a chalet. Our last night there we found specs of blood at the foot of the bed and at the top of the bed where the blanket was never removed and where the pillows covered it. We slept on that for a week and didn’t know. If I knew it wouldn’t have been a hassle I would have got a refund and found a different chalet the first day. Also one of the upstairs sliding closet doors was not hooked properly and fell on my wife. I believe the owner should do a thorough inspection ahead of time before letting guest stay there.
