Morlais Log Cabin

Friendly host moved his daughter's car to allow me to park kerbside right next to the property and helped me with the bags down the steep drive as I had two my dogs with me. Bed very comfy, studio warm, bread, butter, jams,cereal and milk all very kindly waiting there. I pre-prepped a meal and brought it with me to heat in the microwave as no hob. w Lyme is a lovely destination but it's a very steep walk back up to the studio so be prepared, or take your car down and park nearer the beach:)

Could have done with a little sink or some washing up liquid as I needed to do all the washing up in the bathroom basin with hand soap. The owners ask that you leave their crockery and cutlery for them to wash, but I had dog bowls and food containers of my own too.

Great for a one night stay. Comfortable and quiet location.

A lovely bolt hold for a few days away, really comfortable and peaceful. The basket of breakfast goodies was welcome both in the morning and the evening, so thoughtful. The property was spotless and after walking all day a pleasure to come back to. Thank you for having us.

We cannot fault anything.

Gorgeous place, very clean and well presented. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Views were incredible. I wasn't sure what to expect staying in someone's back garden, but it was not an issue at all, once youre in the cabin it felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful and serene, just what we needed. It was a 15 minute walk into the town, walking back was all uphill but we knew that and we had no problem with it, nice little pub half way to stop for a pit stop. My only complaint is that I wish we could have stayed longer. Hosts were attentive and approachable. What a little gem, we will definitely be back xx

Everything about our stay in the Morlais log cabin was perfect. We had all the facilities we needed for our stay. The host was very friendly, and the bed was so comfy we wished we could’ve stayed longer. Would defiantly like to return.

We didn’t expect any breakfast but we were provided with a hamper which was very appreciated.
