Cosy 2 bedroom Log Cabin in Snowdonia Cabin151

Location was good and cabin was clean, neat and tidy

Storm damage to decking rail is awaiting repairs however it clearly marked in order to be aware/take caution

Lovely peaceful location. Nice touch leaving a welcome pack of cereal, coffee and biscuits etc.

It was absolutely roasting during the heatwave. I know it's not often this happens in Wales ha ha. But a fan/cooler would of been handy.

Simple lock box easy entty

Sadly no amount of mattress toppers make the bed comfortable this is our second visit and.might be last as mattress is unbearably uncomfortable and we get no sleep. Also the lounge chairs are tired and not as comfy as they could be a little update would make a stay exceptional as the cabin has it all except these two things. We love it but getting older you appreciate the little things more, a third and future stay would be dependent on simple upgrades.

The location of the cabin.

On first impressions, the cabin seemed fine. we were pre warned about rotten decking and outside benches, didnt think it was a problem but these things should be checked before letting. Rotting doesnt happen overnight. The kitchen was clean, the pans werent . Throughout the stay things declined though. None of the bedroom lamps worked. One in the bunkroom was missing a bulb, so thankfully there were no little hands to go in it. One of the interior porch lights didnt work and there were no spare bulbs. The kitchen light was faulty and kept flashing on and off, so couldnt be used. The smoke alarm had been disconnected, so not working. A bedroom socket was taped up with electrical tape so who knows how dangerous that could have been. And then, the towel radiator in the shower room had a broken valve cover, which came off freely and exposed LIVE wires. In the SHOWER room. That was just the electrics. The ceiling hadnt been dusted in dont know how long, cobwebs hanging off beams, lights and corners, doors didnt close properly bathroom door doesnt lock. The vac was unusable because it was FULL of other peoples gunk. There was no memory foam matress for the sofa bed, and no bedding. But when I took a sheet off the lower bunk, it had a questionable stain on it. Disgusting. Overall, this place seems like an accident waiting to happen due to the electrics. The electric cable for the oven is in contact with the back of the oven! so if that gets hot when the ovens on.......who knows.

The log cabin was lovely and clean. My boys 5years and 11 years really enjoyed it. The views are incredible. Short distance to local beach. So much to do around the area. Staff was lovely in the shop. Everyone on the site is very friendly.
