Sunset Chalet is a beautiful old beachside house that feels like stepping into a different time. Nestled right by the shore, the property offers uninterrupted views of the sea, with the soothing sound of waves constantly in the background. One of the best parts of the stay is watching the sunset—the sky turns into stunning shades of orange and pink, making evenings here truly special. The chalet itself has a rustic, vintage charm. The wooden elements, slightly weathered walls, and old-style structure give it a cozy, nostalgic feel that’s hard to find in modern accommodations. It doesn’t try to be luxurious, but instead offers a warm, laid-back atmosphere that fits perfectly with the beach setting. That said, the house does show signs of age. Some areas could use maintenance and a bit of updating, especially for those who prefer polished, modern interiors. However, if you appreciate character over perfection, these quirks add to the authenticity of the experience.

Looks like the whole house has not been cleaned for years. Definitely dirty. The guesthouse just 20 m. next-door runs crazy and deafeaning techno parties, till 2 am. Sleeping was therefore impossible.

The location to get to the property wasn’t good. But it was close to curries beach shack.

Was very disappointed 😞 I wish I didn’t book this place for my father’s 60th birthday. The place was not cleaned at all even though my mom was in connection with the host and told him 3-4 days before about the occasion and so forth. My grandma was very upset, the path to walk was uneven, there were no toilets papers, the toilet seat was broken, the tube lights weren’t working, the linen smelt of cockroaches and there were ample running around the property. The hose and shower in the bathroom weren’t functioning. So my old parents and my 80+ grandma had to have bucket bath. The place on the whole was not clean at all. The host reply to all these concerns were showing my parents past positive reviews. Almost made them feel like liars for the problems they were facing and the concerns they were expressing. I wouldn’t recommend the stay being a local from goa. For the price point and the services offered its. Not worth it.

Chalet is spacey and airy settled amidst the jungle.. you have curlies jst outside, beach view from hills and beach both at walkable distance from the chalet.... An authentic goan house surronded by lush green, sound of waves splashing and winds hustling whole time... And isn't this the whole point of having Goa vacation!! And special mentions to our host Aslam and helper Inder to make our stay comfortable.

Peaceful location. The property has a nice sit out on the mezzanine floor. The caretaker Aslam was very friendly and helpful. Friendly dogs on the property.

The property needs a bit of upkeep and maintenance. The shower, toilet faucet and kitchen sink tap seems to be chocked due to sediment deposits. There is no place to hang/keep clothes in the bathroom. One room’s AC wasn’t working.
