"Great quiet cottage perfect for family visiting Picos de Europa"

The view to the mountains was amazing. Very private, the yard and picnic table was a great place to chill and enjoy the evening. Friendly cat in the yard was super cute. Rooms very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Great space for our family of 5.

Downstairs bedroom smelled musky, understand it’s a cottage and may be unoccupied for a while. WiFi not working but no issues as there’s good mobile signal. Sheep nearby walked around all night making noises but it’s all part of nature!

"Leuk verblijf maar wel met enige irritaties"

Groot huis op goede locatie.

Er was geen welkomstbericht met instructies/uitleg aanwezig. De code voor de Wifi lag er ook niet. We hebben de code van de modem/router af moeten lezen (weet niet iedereen). Eén dag voor aankomst berichtte de host ons dat er een lekkage was in het bad/de douche op de eerste etage en dat we daarom alleen beneden konden douchen. Aan de kringen op het plafond te zien bestond de lekkage al enige tijd en had dit eerder gemeld moeten worden zodat wij, 2 stellen, het huis eventueel konden annuleren. De deur van de keuken naar de tuin kon niet open. Hierdoor omlopen via de huisdeur. Hebben we gemeld aan de host maar die heeft hier niet op gereageerd.

"Perfect place to enjoy nature."

The view of the mountains from the garden was spectacular and there are many wonderful walks to take directly from the house so a fantastic location. Comfortable beds and furniture. We needed an extra pillow which our host got for us within an hour, very helpful. Lots of birds and wildlife seen directly from the house/garden, great for nature lovers.

There were two birds that flew into the windows and either died or were knocked unconscious while we were there which was upsetting. It would be great if the owners could put anti bird-strike stickers on the windows to stop this from happening.
