Lakeside cabin set in the Kentish countryside

Very relaxing with beautiful scenery, would definitely recommend.

Het is een prachtige omgeving waarin 4 huisjes staan. Het uitzicht op de meertjes is fantastisch. Er is alleen maar rust.

De matrassen zijn niet allemaal even goed.

None of the cabins had names on them, which meant we were not sure which one was ours.

We had a lovely week in the cabin. The location is in the middle of the countryside. It is very peaceful. Our children loved looking out for rabbits, ducks and the pair of geese on the pond. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to visit several National Trust properties in the area, the steam train at Tenterden and the beach, all within 30-40 minutes drive. There are a few pubs in the area to eat and Ashford has lots of supermarkets.

We arrived during the day and we had no problems finding the place. However, it might be a bit more difficult to find if arriving at night time. There are no tea bags and no coffee but to be honest, we brought our own anyway so didn't bother us at all. The place is very good value for the price.

Beautiful cabin in a great setting. We stayed in the winter, but it would be even better in the summer. We flew in from New Zealand and picked this cabin to be near to family who live in the village.

Having arrived from a long flight and drive from Heathrow, we were disappointed that although there was a kettle, there was no teabags or coffee etc to welcome us and there were no supermarkets nearby. A small welcome package would have made this an exceptional stay.
