We've stayed at Roydon before and we love the place. It's peaceful, the lodges are well enough kept and the marina itself is lovely. Permanent residents are friendly and help is always on hand if we need it.

The particular lodge we stayed in had a garden space that wasnt as private as the others. But thats a really minor issue!

How wonderful to return to Roydon to find a great Clubhouse; with bar and outside seating. Love the fact that the hot tubs are checked daily and, more importantly, emptied and refilled for each new visit. Kitchen had all required utensils and made self-catering very easy. Great location and lovely pub (The White Hart) in the village, which serves amazing food.

There were shelves missing in the fridge door, which made storing some items a bit tricky. Needed more bin bags - take some extra ones, just to be sure!!

The decking needed cleaning and restraining, the position of the lodge was opposite a car park
