Amazing weekend break. Perfect location, very relaxing.

The only thing and this is very minor is that we wasn’t prepared for there being no washing up liquid, cleaning products and hand soap etc. As said this was very minor and there is a spar down the road and did not affect our visit at all.

Lovely size rooms.

Mattress’s hard. No cover over hot tub if raining

Its our 2nd visit. Excellent provisions for cooking. Information file is great. Comfortable rooms. Brilliant for family birthday gathering.

No recycling bins, no WiFi

Location was good, resort grounds were lovely.

Lodge felt quite rundown overall. Wi-Fi was quite unreliable. As other reviewers have mentioned, the mattress on the double bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable (it actually sounded like it was broken!) One of the showers was very hard to regulate the temperature (despite turning the tap on first etc). The other shower had a very weak flow but it was the only one the 6 of us could actually use. No hand soap in any of the bathrooms (we would of expected that to be provided rather than have to bring our own just for 3 days?) The kitchen was not very well equipped (minimal amount of cutlery/crockery and we couldn't even find a sieve!) The lid on the hot tub was VERY HEAVY - even 3 of us (women) struggled to put it back on! (not ideal given you have to put the lid back on to maintain the temperature)
