Loved the whole experience of being in a lodge in the woods with a hot tub

How close together the lodges were. By the photographs I thought we were alone for quite a distance. Next door was some rowdy men who wouldn't stop screaming in the night. It was a shame but not the sites fault.

The pond

No soap to wash your hands with after using the toilet, no hot water, not very clean all around, one of the showers didn't work and only one bathroom with a lock. I ended up with bruising down my leg due to climbing out the hot tub I would advise to put some steps close to it so it's easier for people to get out.

"The lodges are surrounded by woodland and offer complete peace and quiet."

We stayed in the Shrew Lodge. The staff had opened the lodge for us and had the hot tub ready. If you want complete escapism, the lodges are perfect. They are clean, very comfortable and decorated nicely. We will definitely be going back.

"Shrew Lodge"

Location is great as was the hot tub. Also, the lodge itself and its surroundings were good to.

Stayed in Shrew Lodge. One of the mattresses was thinner than the other so not everyone had a comfortable night's sleep.
